Featured Health Advocate & Wellness Ambassador - Actor, Stuntman, & Humanitarian

We appreciate our Health Advocates & Wellness Ambassadors for the awesome things they do to help our world become a better place for all of us to live. We like to recognize those in our community who live with this in mind, which is in line with our mission here at EZC Pak - to reduce the global threat of antibiotic resistance so that we can all live without fear that antibiotics won't work anymore when we really need them.

Today, we'd like to recognize a man who exemplifies courage, compassion, and determination.... DUY BECK.

Duy has a heart for the nations and has been conducting impact developments in rural villages in East Africa.  He is the Chairman of the Virtua Foundation, a public charity with the mission to share the love of Christ and provide development assistance in key areas of socio-economic impact.  They are completing the development of a community center-children’s home & water routing project providing several water taps for nearly 7,000 villagers at the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro.  The Virtua Foundation is now helping build the first stand-alone pediatric hospital in which the Vice President and first lady of the country consecrated.

Duy has been in the entertainment and media industry for over 20 years & judging pageants for over 7 years.  As a print & fitness model, actor, & voice over, Duy has been profiled in Cosmopolitan magazine & Complete Woman as one of America’s top 50 bachelors while appearing on the Regis & Kelly Show and Good Morning America; catalog & print ads for Land Rover, Asics, Gold’s Gym, and Ultradent; multiple film, industrial and commercials for Intel, Verisign & acting/stunts for Disney, NBC, Warner Brothers, & Universal.  Duy also has a heart for music and has recorded in East Africa with children from the orphanage as well as top producing musicians in Nashville. He played at LA’s ‘Stop the Violence’ rally and his band has opened for a 4x Grammy and 11x dove recipient.

Duy graduated with honors in business management & business marketing from the U of U, and graduated with distinction from the number #1 international business school, Thunderbird School of Global Management, with an executive MBA.  Duy is a principal with U.S. Capital Group and has been involved in financial, technology, and entrepreneurial markets for several years.  Duy served nearly 7 years in the Marine reserves as a Sergeant, was an assistant Varsity Volleyball coach at Juan Diego, and was a competitor in the Ford Ironman 70.3 World Championships.  He has a black-belt in TaeKwon-Do and was a Gold Medalist in the Utah summer games.  Duy was blessed to summit Mt. Kilimanjaro on our nation’s birthday and resides part time in Los Angeles and Salt Lake City.  For those of you that don’t know, Duy is usually pretty clean cut but his long hair is the result of a promise he made to not cut it until the orphanage in E. Africa was fully complete.  It has been nearly 5 years since that vow was made.

Let's congratulate DUY BECK for all the gracious and generous work he has done.
